Brings in a turning point to people’s thoughts and the design for user experience connected to HTC VIVE, VIVE Pro, and VIVE Pro Eye in VR games, education, healthcare, and commerce
Rilispedia.com – Looxid Labs Inc. (CEO Brian Chae), an emotion AI startup aiming to integrate biometrics into a VR/AR/MR platform, unveiled Looxid Link (https://looxidlabs.com/looxidlink/), a next-generation user interface which connects the users’ minds to virtual reality (VR) using their brainwaves, at VRX 2019 in San Francisco from December 12th to 13th.
The next-generation VR user interface, Looxid Link, can be used to visualize users’ brains in VR environments, implement custom interactions based on their attention, relaxation, or brainwave balance, and analyze users’ states. For example, it can be used to implement various interactions such as the movement of objects by using attention or relaxation indexes in VR games or make VR movies with customized storylines that change according to the user’s brainwave patterns.
At VRX 2019, Looxid Labs will set up a booth where booth visitors can experience of connecting their minds to VR: they can try the interaction playground, a means for attention and relaxation training, and Mind Master: Pyrokinesis, a gamified form for attention training as our primary example for neurogaming.
“It is really encouraging to see our technology and potential recognized globally at VRX 2019, where the most influential and ingenious VR technologies are showcased,” said Yongwook Chae, the CEO of Looxid Labs. “Preorder sales of Looxid Link will be available until December 31st. 2019. I hope you stay tuned for our next-generation product in order to enhance VR user experiences and develop personalized VR applications”, he added.
Looxid Link easily measures brainwaves in VR environments and enables real-time use of mind indexes such as relaxation, attention, and brain activity, as well as types of brainwave frequencies. Looxid Link is compatible with high-end VR headsets such as VIVE, VIVE Pro VIVE Pro Eye, with the mask-type brainwave sensor accessory module and software development kit (SDK). Orders can be placed on the Looxid Link webpage (https://looxidlabs.com/looxidlink/). Preorder prices will be USD $239 (excluding tax and delivery fees), a 20% discount from the original USD $299.
